The Hurling club at queens offers new and existing players the chance to play hurling at the highest level or new players to develop their skill in a fun, competitive environment. The support structure with in queens offers a professional approach with professional coaching for all players of different skill levels to improve. The club will not hinder players studies.
The hurling club consists of three teams, Firsts, Seconds and Fresher’s. Which all take part in their own league and championship campaigns. The club trains as a whole twice a week (Tuesday and Thursdays) at the Dub playing fields.
The club acts as a great social outlet for all players. The club hosts several fundraisers and team bonding sessions throughout the year finishing up with a weekend away to compete in all Irelands. The club is predominantly student run so players have the opportunity to get involved off the filed in the running of the club.
