Surfing is a thrilling sport for both newcomers and pros.
For people keen to try something new or hone their skills to a higher level, Queen’s surf club meets regular for trips up to the North and West coast of Ireland. When staying in Portrush or Bundoran we organize lessons with safe and professional companies for those new to the sport, whilst taking the intermediate groups to beaches with suitable waves.
Whilst in Belfast we have socials once a month; either going out in town, or for drinks and pizza at Parlour. However we also have dedicated social secretaries who organize events throughout the year, this is from the Beach party in which locals bands played live to the Christmas pub crawl at the end of 1st semester.
The club also holds an annual formal from watching the dog racing at Drumbo park to the booze bike around Belfast city center. Another annual event is our Easter trip away, going in search the perfect of waves in Portugal and having beers on the beach we always try and make this one unforgettable week. So if you want to meet new laidback people come find us at Freshers’ fair or follow us on social media to get involved.
