Clubs & Societies now have a more advanced training programme than ever before. There are two compulsory annual training days throughout the year and this year we hope to have an extensive schedule of useful workshops for Clubs and Societies committee members. 

If you would like to know more about the training sessions, or anything else, simply give your Clubs & Societies Suppport Officer or Student Activities Officer a shout. We are happy to help!

Newly Appointed Committees

Date:  The first/second Wednesday of May every year

You will learn all about:

Free food and soft drinks will be provided! 

If the time set doesn't suit just contact the Clubs and Societies Support Officer to organise a 1on 1 training session for your committee.

Clubs and Societies that missed the May session

Date:  The first/second Wednesday of October every year

You will learn all about:

  • The development opportunities available to Clubs & Societies throughout the year such as:
  • Volunteer SU
  • Queen’s Sport
  • Change Stuff

There will also be Guest speakers and free food and soft drinks!

The Benefits

There are loads of benefits of attending Club & Societies training. In a nutshell, we will help and support you to:

  • Ace your role as a Club & Society Committee member.
  • Learn loads of new skills and gain a huge amount of experience. Employers will love you for it.
  • Earn lots of points that go towards your overall grant score, which dictates the amount your Club or Society will receive #important.
