What is SIFE?
SIFE is a global non-profit organization, active in 42 countries. SIFE student teams work together with university and business advisers to develop projects that focus on teaching others the skills needed to bring economic opportunity to all. The projects are based on the 5 principles of SIFE:

  • entrepreneurship
  • personal success skills
  • business ethics
  • financial literacy
  • market economics

SIFE GroupEach national SIFE organisation conducts a national competition, which is judged by leaders from its business community. At competition, SIFE teams present the results of their projects and compete to determine which team was most successful at creating economic opportunity for others. SIFE National Champion teams advance to the top level of competition, the SIFE World Cup which in 2008 was held in Singapore!

2008 is the first year of SIFE at Queen’s and the team is actively seeking your support! The projects which are carried out by SIFE Queens aim to help the community in a sustainable and enterprising way, as well as developing skills for the students involved.
