Welcome...
I’m Jason O’Neill, President of Queen's University Belfast Students' Union. I’ve been elected along with six Vice Presidents to represent the views of students currently studying at Queen's and to advocate their interests to the University and external bodies. All Queen’s students are automatically members of the Union. We’re here to help you if you encounter any problems and to ensure that you get the most out of your time spent at University.
The Union is a ‘not for profit’ organisation so every penny that you spend in any of our shops, bars or entertainments venues goes straight back into providing our advice and representation services, running campaigns and improving the building.
As well as housing bars, shops and advice services, the Union also contains a relax and study area called ‘The Space’, a bank, coffee shops, a food court and meeting rooms. The Union acts as an umbrella body for over 170 Clubs and Societies, ranging from origami to trampolining.
Our student officers and support staff are always here to help, whether you have issues regarding your education, finances, accommodation or health. We will campaign on your behalf and do our upmost to ensure that the area around campus is safe.
For more information, check out our officer profiles by clicking on the ‘Student Officers’ tab above. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch; if you need anything, call up to our offices on Level 2 of the Union building or drop me an email at su.president@qub.ac.uk.
